As the growing concern over the Corona virus pandemic spreads, the Church of the Nazarene is committed to the safety and health of it's people. Here at Lavelle, we want to assure you that we are going above and beyond to make sure that our facilities are clean and disinfected thoroughly. At this time we will continue to hold weekly services as scheduled. However, under the guidance of the powers that be in the Philadelphia District, we will abide by the following guidelines until further notice.
1. No handshake policy. Greetings: As we greet others, “Fist Bumps or Elbow Bumps” are encouraged.
2. Communion: Packaged communion is recommended. It is highly recommended that communion be served individually and not be shared participation with both bread and juice. We will hold communion at Maundy Thursday service if seemed safe and skip communion for the month of April.
3. Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. As stated before, we are being diligent in ensuring the church and classrooms are clean and sanitized on a continual basis. We urge all our people to practice good hand washing and sanitation
